Day1 10/18:
5:30 am start for Nagarhole, Kabini River Lodge. 9:30am short break for breakfast with bread and banana that we carried. 10:30 reached Kabini River Lodge.
After completing some official formalities and guidance we got our room. Had to wait for few minutes for cleaning of the room, since we reached early before checkout time
Lunch Buffet at 1:30pm, food was delicious both veg and non-veg. 2:15pm to 3pm we spent a beautiful entertaining time at the children play area. Various moderate adventurous games were available, those made my daughter absolutely excited and delightful.
I took several schenic pictures of the beautiful surroundings including river forest and docked floating boats at that leisure time, see below.

Post lunch at 3:40pm started for River side safari on Boat. Saw various animals.
6:30pm back from boat safari. Had supper and tea. Watched Wild life film show at 7:30 pm. There is a small bar, you can enjoy beer if you wish to.
An mouth watering dinner at 8:30pm. Excellent food served. Post dinner played Table Tennis with daughter and next went for bed.
Day2 10/19:
After having morning tea at 5:45am, started for Jeep safari at 6:15. Saw various animals, you can see them below. We were very close to spot the tiger, just before our jeep came to the spot - another safari bus saw it to cross the road.
Completed and returned from forest safari at 9am. Had breakfast and tea. Daughter went to play area again. 11am checkout from Kabini Lodge and headed towards Irupu water falls in Kodagu district, Karnataka. 12:45pm reached Irupu falls. We parked the car and trekked towards falls. We climbed range of steps to reach the falls at a high position on top of hill.
We trekked down to return to our car and started for returning to home at 1:30pm. You have to take entry pass for going through Nagarhole forest road. It was 6 hour journey as per map to reach home via Kanakapura Road.
On the way we took some halt and had sloth driving through forest for having another chance to watch animals. Took some snaps of them, see below. Specially stripped neck Mongoose.
Took some break on the way and reached home late at 9pm. Also faced traffic halt for some time due to a road accident happened on Kanakapura road.
It was a wonderful time for us to spend at Nagarhole forest and Kabini forest lodge for 2D/1N holidays. We enjoyed a lot. Though we were unfortunate to see any Tiger or big cat. My daughter became too upset due to this over the Jeep Safari.
Piece of advice: do not go there with expectation to see tiger with 100% chance. Because it is not a zoo. It is you who are visible to them if they want to see you at your safari time :-). We are at their mercy to watch them.
We went just after monsoon, hence it was dense forest. Water pockets should be everywhere inside the forest range. So animals dose not come out and eventually chance of visibility of them also becomes rare. I would suggest to go there in the month of March - May summer time. Forest would be dry and animals has to come out towards river for water.
